"Ten Little Indians" |
Check out these dozen or so scarf shots from the first
few episodes of the second season and tell me this guy
isn't intentionally going out of his way to invent new
knots in every scene. It's hard to find two that
are even similar. Current theory: the
wardrobe director replaced the white scarf with a dark
one because the prop people couldn't keep up with his
ever changing knot schemes from shot to shot. With the
dark one, his trickery is not quite so obvious. |

The shots below are from the
second half of the second season where he is in his new
hat and the darker scarf. When the tunic is worn not
tucked in, it is easier to see that the buttons do not go
all the way down. |

Buck's hat for
the first eight episodes of the second season is the same
hat he had in the first season. It has a brighter
blue diamond pattern on the bead band, as shown in the
first two photos below. In the ninth episode,
"Ebenezer", the hat changes to one with a bead band that
is more subdued in color and looks like curly exes, as
shown in the next two pictures. "Ebenezer" is the only
episode where the new hat appears together with the light
scarf. This later hat remains for the rest of the
series. The ammo arm band also continues on
through the series. His hair, while still blond, is
generally darker than in the first season. |
