The 2007 High Chaparral Reunion

Here's a very appreciative note from the four cast members who attended the August 2007 Reunion:

A very special thank you to all the organizers and participants of the 2007 High Chaparral Reunion and 40th Anniversary celebration from Don Collier, Henry Darrow, Bob Hoy and Ted Markland. You made this important anniversary an occasion we will never forget.

The tremendous effort that was put into this event, which was so obvious from start to finish, was greatly appreciated.  What a thrill it was to see so many of our old friends who worked on The High Chaparral. But an even greater pleasure was meeting the fans – both the old and the new.   We are honored that so many would travel such a great distance to spend some time with us.

The love and support you all have for us and everyone connected with The High Chaparral is greatly treasured; a gift for which we will never be able to properly express our gratitude.

We hope to see everyone again in the not too distant future.

Best wishes and love,

Don, Henry, Bob and Ted

2005 Parade

The High Chaparral side of the David Dortort float.

For the first time the fans of The High Chaparral assembled a major float to enter in the Nevada Day Parade and Western Festival held in October of 2005.  They won third prize, from among 200 entries.  Marian Panter, Ariel O'Neil, and Denise Billen-Mejia were largely responsible for this Herculean effort.  Three pages of info and photos are here.
