Daytime Clothes |
In the third season Victoria's wardrobe has more variety
as she starts mixing different colored skirts and blouses
although she still maintains just two basic daytime
outfits, either the pink V-neck with skirt, or a peasant
blouse with skirt.
The pink V-neck, lace-trim shirt is seen often in the
third season, appearing with either a pink or blue skirt.
Besides these four episodes, Victoria is seen wearing it
in "Apache Trust", "To Stand for Something More",
"Mi Casa, Su Casa", "Generation", "Reluctant Deputy", and
"Auld Lang Syne". It also appears in the fourth
season. |

The long sleeve
high-neck daytime outfits of the second season are gone in
the third and the basic
peasant blouse and skirt become the staple for Victoria's
wardrobe from here on. She appears to have three skirts in
pink, blue, and turquoise; and at least four peasant
blouses in pink, blue, turquoise, and off-white.
These are put together in matching or contrasting outfits.

Victoria still wears her brown and black riding outfit in
the third season, but the dressier navy traveling outfit
and its short red cape have been replaced by a red traveling outfit that carries
into the fourth season as well. The
red traveling suit appears to
be satin or other high sheen fabric. She wears this
to visit Rancho Montoya or just to go to Tucson. She
also wore it to travel to and from San Francisco on the
stage, where she got the fancy hat to go with it. This
suit is usually worn with a high-neck white lace blouse.

Formal
Clothes |
The third
season offered more occasions for formal clothes.
The orange trimmed lace blouse from the first season
reappears in the third as one of her two regular dinner
outfits. Besides the four episodes pictured above,
it can be seen in "Journal of Death" and "Jelks".
The blue-grey dress is new and is sometimes worn as daytime wear with an apron. It was also worn in "Brothers Cannon". |

Her more formal dinner clothes, shown below, were usually
reserved for when there were guests coming for dinner or when
visiting Rancho Montoya. The V-neck lace blouse is
carried forward from the second season, as is the black
dress with lace trim and the frilly pink and white dress
first seen at Rancho Montoya in the second season.
The red skirt here is part of her traveling suit. |
