The New Shirt |
His new shirt is solid light
blue with a fuller sleeve than his previous striped
shirts. He is rarely seen in this shirt without
the new vest. |

The New Vest and Bandana |
The new vest
and bandana are the most noticeable elements of the new
outfit. The vest is darker, seems more
form-fitting, and has three prominent leather ties in
the front that are always tied. The bandana has
changed from his muslin-colored one to a dark maroon,
but more important than the color, he has changed his
style of wearing it. This bandana is always rolled
and knotted tightly around his neck, never unfolded, and
is tied with a simple knot, always in the front.
He wore his old bandana loosely tied outside his shirt
collar, unfolded, and in a variety of knot positions.

The New Coat |
The green
poncho is gone in the third season and in "Generation"
he appears in a new dark blue coat. I do not know
of this coat appearing in any other episode. |

Special Outfits |
While Blue does not really have
any special outfits in the third season, he does have a couple
different looks. In "To Stand for Something More" he
accidentally ends up falling in the mud at the edge of a watering
hole, getting his whole
regular outfit wet and muddy. This leads to one of only two scenes in the
series where he appears without a shirt on, when he is cleaning
up back at the well in the yard. (The other shirtless
scene is in the pilot when he is in bed recuperating from an
arrow wound in the back.)
In
"Generation", shown below, he is recuperating in bed in his pink underwear. |
